Absolute Absalon-BMC team Fourstroke XC race bike - Gallery

The Absolute Absalon-BMC cross-country race team will be racing aboard a BMC Fourstroke this season. You can expect to see Titouan Carod, Filippo Colombo and Mathis Azzaro racing the Fourstroke at the UCI World Cups this season. Pauline Ferrand-Prevot will ride a custom bike, which we should learn details about soon.

The team's BMC Fourstroke is outfitted in one of the best MTB groupsets on the market compliments of SRAM, while items from RockShox, BMC, Prologo, Duke and Vittoria make up the balance. Interestingly, the riders will use different size forks, ranging from 100-120mm.

Speaking of suspension, the Fourstroke's will be equipped with RockShox SID Ultimate forks and SIDLuxe Ultimate shocks.

The drivetrain will be a full SRAM XX1 Eagle spec, with the shifter and derailleur being an AXS electronic version. The Level Ultimate brakes are also provided by SRAM. Riders will not run a RockShox dropper post, opting instead for stock BMC droppers.

Handlebars and stems will come from BMC, and riders will also get Prologo saddles, Duke wheels, and Vittoria tires.
