As I browsed my overnight emails this morning, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming while reading one particular email from one of the best mountain bike brands, Kona. I made my early morning coffee and read it again, it was definitely true.

Kona, the makers of legendary mountain bikes that I dreamed of owning as a fledgling mountain bike rider, like the Expolsif and Fire Mountain, has what surely is the greatest deal ever seen, in the history of the internet. That's maybe going slightly too far, but it's pretty good...

Right now, until December 31st, 2023, the Kona N+1 sale is offering a buy one get one free deal on any of its in-stock Kona Process full-suspension mountain bikes.

I'll just repeat that because you might not believe it first time reading, Kona is offering a buy one get one free across the range of its Process full suspension mountain bike range.

Kona Process X DH: $4,699 / £4,599 BOGOF at Kona
BOGOF

Kona Process X DH: $4,699 / £4,599 BOGOF at Kona
The Kona Process X DH is an aluminum-framed downhill mountain bike and it has a 190mm RockShox fork, paired with 162mm of RockShox rear travel. SRAM provides the shifting and braking, and there should be ample stopping power with the 200mm front and rear rotors. WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0 rims roll on the ever popular Maxxis Assegai DH and Maxxis Minion tires. Available in S-XL and when you buy this, it triggers the BOGOF offer at Kona, so now all you have to do is choose another bike!

The Kona offer is limited to in-stock Process full-suspension models, but there are loads to choose from. So if you were in the market for a mid-travel trail ripper like the Kona Process 134 CR it's there, ready to go, and then the beauty of it all kicks in. What else to get? You may have had your eye on a downhill mountain bike, how about the Kona Process X DH? That's there, also ready to go! You get a hard-hitting downhill bike with a great spec that includes a RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Trunnion shock and a RockShox Boxxer Select DebonAir fork with a load of trail-soaking travel – free!

The choices are pretty endless and there are even chidren's options, so buying a kid's mountain bike for Christmas has just become easier. All the frame material options from Kona are available too, including the aluminum Process models and the higher-end carbon versions.

What's the catch you ask? Well, there isn't one. The only condition is that the bikes are in stock (no backorders) and the free second bike has to be equal or of a lesser value to the first.

Kona Process 153 27.5: $3,399 / £3,199 BOGOF at Kona
BOGOF

Kona Process 153 27.5: $3,399 / £3,199 BOGOF at Kona
Before the buy one get one free deal even kicks in the Process 153 27.5 is already at a wallet-friendly price. Built around the Kona 6061 aluminum frame, you get RockShox 160mm front and 153mm rear suspension, with an 11-spd Shimano Deore drivetrain, and Shimano Deore braking too. A wheelset by WTB rolls on Maxxis tires, and makes it a pretty perfect all-around package, but when it comes free if you've bought say the Kona Process X DH above, it's really quite incredible. There are plenty of size options, but a limited choice of colors.

I've compiled a list of the current listed stock of Kona Process mountain bikes below, and listed a few specs on a couple of models that caught my eye above. If you're even considering buying a Kona, then I'd suggest you move quickly, as these are sure to be snapped up fast. This offer is across all territories and runs until December 31st, 2023. Check it out at Konaworld.com.
