Renowned mountain bike brand Forestal will soon be readily available in the United Kingdom and Ireland thanks to a partnership with Silverfish. The Andorran company is well regarded for its comprehensive range of the best electric mountain bikes, which span trail, Enduro and downhill mountain biking disciplines.

Silverfish announced earlier this year that its new strategy will be built around exciting new collaborations with international brands and Forestal represents a natural fit and progression for the agency. It will initially stock three of Forestal’s foremost e-MTB offerings, the Siryon (Enduro), Cyon (trail) and Hydra (Downhill) bikes.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Forestal. The bikes are incredible and the thought process that goes into each one is phenomenal,” says Silverfish Founder, Darren Mabbott.

Each bike is built with the contemporary lightweight rhetoric at heart, and features a raft of proprietary components such as a torquey motor and battery system, an integrated touchscreen display (which includes mapping and smartphone integration), all of which is held together by an impressively unique suspension system.

Forestal’s General Manager, Rafael Gil-Perez Redondo, commented, “We are delighted to be partnering with the team at Silverfish to bring Forestal bikes to this market. Our personal relationships go way back, so we know they share our passion for mountain biking and a relentless desire to deliver the highest quality products alongside a superb customer experience.”

As a relatively newcomer to the game, Forestal was founded in 2018 and has quickly become a technological leader in the bike industry thanks to its diverse team that brings a wealth of experience from other industrial sectors such as motorsports, aircraft engineering, IT development and, of course, the bike industry.

Everything from the designing, engineering, manufacturing and assembling is done in-house in Andorra, which doubles up as the perfect testbed for product R&D – Andorra is a trail mecca for mountain bikers. Apart from the focus on mountain bikes and electrification, Forestal is in the advanced stages of entering the highly competitive gravel, road and urban bikes space.

The Forestal Siryon, Cyon, and Hydra will be on display at Core Bike Show at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel in Northamptonshire next week. We’ll be there covering the event so keep an eye on the homepage for updates and more.
