Selle San Marco launch new range of bikepacking bags

Italian company Selle San Marco is famous for producing some of the best bike saddles and it's hand-made and hand-finished saddles have been manufactured in its Italian factories since 1935. 

They now take their traditions for quality and attention to detail and in collaboration with fellow Italian bag manufacturers, Miss Grape, have launched a collection they hope will be up there with the best bikepacking bags.

Made in Italy with 100 percent waterproof and tear-resistant materials. The new Selle San Marco bags are aimed at bikepacking and gravel riders and claim to be cleverly designed to adapt to the shape of your bike, aiming to exploit every bit of space while ensuring both a pleasant and safe riding experience.

The new collection includes nine bag models:

The Saddle Bag is available in two sizes, 7L and 13L. Aimed to be ultralight, waterproof and durable, the smaller 7L size is designed to carry everything needed for a day or weekend trip they are attached either to the saddle or seatpost with Velcro straps and will support a claimed load of up to 5kg. 

For longer trips over multiple days and bikepacking adventures, the 13L bag can also carry camping and cooking equipment, in addition to clothing. The double-layer fabric insert on the underside of the Saddle Bag and the tear-resistant fabric means they should be capable of withstanding the harshest weather conditions.

The Frame Bags are available in five sizes, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 liters and are designed for weekend adventures. Your essentials should all be close at hand thanks to the full-length zip allowing easy access to your all important snacks.

Their Top Tube Bag is an ideal size for daily rides, spacious enough to hold small essentials and looks small enough never to get in the way.

Finally, the Handlebar Bag is for carrying small objects, making sure they're always close at hand during long-distance bikepacking and has a maximum capacity of 2L.
