Ortlieb has launched a selection of new bags and colorways that include an updated waterproof pannier, a fresh Dark Sand colorway for its bikepacking bag range, and a new duffle bag that comes in two sizes with the biggest being a cavernous 89L of capacity.

Like all of Ortlieb's waterproof products, manufacturing takes place in its German HQ with a focus on producing durable products. Sustainability is also becoming a priority for Ortlieb who has calculated the precise carbon footprint of every product in its range for increased transparency around its products. Ortlieb's new Duffle RC is aimed at big luggage hauling whether it is getting strapped to a cargo bike, outdoor trips, or far-away adventures.  Ortlieb has opted for a new roll-top closure to give quick access to the contents whilst also staying waterproof.

The Duffle RC comes in 45L and 89L sizes and is made from tear-resistant PD620 fabric. On the outside, there are removable padded shoulder and carrying straps so the bag can either be carried or worn as a backpack. Ortlieb has also attached daisy chain sections on the top and bottom of the bag for attaching items to the outside of the bag or securing the bag to a cargo bike.

Ortlieb made its name producing waterproof panniers and the classic Back-Roller pannier has been a mainstay for Ortlieb and commuters/bike tourers for years. Ortlieb has now added some additional storage to create the Back-Roller Plus. The new version now features a 3L front pocket with its own roll-top closure to keep the weather out.

The pannier is made from PU-coated, PVC-free Cordura and uses Ortlieb's Quick-Lock2.1 mounting system with self-closing hooks for easy fitting and removal to a rack like Ortlieb's own Quick Rack. Off the bike Ortlieb has reworked the shoulder strap and the quick-release buckle to make it more comfortable to carry off the bike.

The Back-Roller Plus comes in four different colors; black, dark chilli, denim, moss green.

Lastly, Ortlieb has introduced an updated colorway for its full range of bikepacking bags. Previously bags were available in either Black or limited edition Mustard options, but now the full range is available in Dark Sand. That includes the mainstay bikepacking items such as the Handlebar-Pack, universal Frame Pack, and Seat-Pack and will also include the Fork-Pack, Gravel-Pack panniers, and Fuel-Pack for a complete matchy-matchy bikepacking bag setup.
