Specialized has a massive sale on – with up to 50% off bikes and gear. Here's my pick of the biggest MTB and off-road bargains

Specialized has launched one of its biggest-ever sales with discounts of up to 50 percent on a huge selection of off-road cycling products that includes its best mountain bikes, gravel bikes and e-MTBs. There are also deals on MTB helmets, shoes, tires, pedals and lots more. 

I've had a hunt around both the Specialized US and Specialized UK websites as deals differ in each territory. I've picked out the best deals on offer and added what I think are the real highlights below. The discounts are currently live but end on the 30th of April. So I'd suggest if something catches your eye, don't hang around, because they are bound to be snapped up quickly.

Stumpjumper EVO Comp Alloy: $4,400

Stumpjumper EVO Comp Alloy: Was $4,400, now $3,499
The Stumpjumper is a bike with a massive reputation and this EVO Comp aluminum model features the same design as its carbon-framed siblings – that includes adjustable geometry that makes the Stumpjumper a versatile and capable machine. 

This model has Fox FLOAT Performance suspension with 150mm of travel and a SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain. Available in two color choices, nearly all sizing and a tasty $900 discount.

The Turbo Levo Alloy is Specialized's M5 premium alloy framed e-MTB. It comes in at just 20kg and features a similar spec and tech to its carbon-framed brethren. The suspension is 150mm of rear travel paired with a 160mm fork, both from RockShox. SRAM SX Eagle is the drivetrain of choice, it rolls on alloy wheels and is powered by the Specialized 2.2 Custom Rx Trail-Tuned Motor with a 700Wh battery.

Currently carrying a $500 discount, all the colors and a mix of sizing are available.

Fuse Sport 27.5:$2,400

The Specialized Fuse Sport is a proper budget hardtail mountain bikes bargain at this discounted price.

The Fuse is built around a Specialized A1 alloy frame and has a great specification for the cost, which includes a SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain, and a RockShox Judy Silver fork with 130mm of travel. The alloy wheels roll on Eliminator tires and there is also a Trans-X dropper too. All the sizes and color selections are available.

Crux Pro:$8,200

The Specialized Crux Pro is a stunning-looking gravel bike and comes backed up with a race-ready spec.

If you're in the market for one of the best gravel bikes currently available, you won't go far wrong with the Crux. The Crux frame weighs just 825g and it comes with SRAM Force 1 eTap AXS groupset and Roval Terra CL wheels. This Pro version has an eye-catching paint job, is available in all sizes and has a $1,201 discount.

One of the stand-out MTB discounts at Specialized is on the Epic Evo Pro. A top-spec carbon framed cross-country mountain bike, it comes with Kashima Fox Factory suspension, a Fox Transfer Factory dropper post, and SRAM's X01 Eagle AXS shifting. You also get SRAM braking and Roval Control Carbon wheels with DT Swiss 350 hubs.

A sweet package that's even better with a massive £3,750 discount. This bike is available in Large size only and is sure to sell very quickly. If you miss out on this, Specialized does have discounts on other Epic models.

S-Works Stumpjumper T-Type: £10,000

The Specialized Stumpjumper needs no introduction and is probably the best-known name in the Specialized range of bikes. It's been around since the earliest days of mountain biking and this S-Works T-Type version has a huge £4,500 discount.

The FACT carbon frame comes backed up with some of the best mountain bike components including Fox suspension, a RockShox Reverb dropper, SRAM XX SL Eagle transmission and Roval Control 240 carbon wheels. It's currently available in sizes S1, S2 and S3.


Diverge STR Pro:£8,000

Diverge STR Pro: Was £8,000, now £6,400
The Diverge is regarded as one of the best gravel bikes in the Specialized line-up. The latest iteration now comes with the brand's updated Future Shock suspension, which gives the rider 20mm at the front and 30mm at the rear.

The Diverge STR Pro model has a FACT 11r carbon frameset, SRAM Force eTap AXS Eagle groupset, Roval Terra CL wheels, an S-Works carbon seatpost, and a Power Pro saddle. Currently, with a £1,600 discount, it's a great price on a superbly specced Diverge, available in sizes 54, 56 and 58.



Turbo Levo SL Comp Carbon: £7,000

The Turbo Levo SL Comp is a carbon-framed lightweight e-MTB. Specialized call it 'the ultimate trail bike' and it comes with plenty of the best electric mountain bike features, including the Specialized 1.2 SL Rx trail-tuned motor that puts out 50Nm of torque and a fully integrated 320Wh battery.

The Levo Turbo also has SRAM GX Eagle shifting, SRAM Code RS brakes and Fox suspension. Available in all sizes and three color choices.

Bennies Platform Pedals: Were £75, now £35
Bennies Platforms have a lightweight alloy body, sealed cartridge bearings, and 24 replaceable pins that should give a nice grippy feel. Unfortunately, the better-than-half-price discount only applies to the UK.

Lightweight and with a redesigned tread, the Purgatory GRID 2Bliss tires are a good choice for multiple surfaces. They are also an absolute bargain right now at Specialized. The best MTB tires don't get big discounts like this often and there's even a good selection of sizing available, so now's the time to grab them.

Supacaz Krypto Pedals:£135

A UK-only deal the Supacaz Krypto pedal has a better than half-price discount on one of the best flat MTB pedals you can get.

The CNC alloy body has self-lubricating bushings and ten strategically placed pins designed to deliver maximum control and feedback. They come in Black or the very cool-looking Oil Slick colorway.

The Gambit is incredibly light at just 615g and has full DH protection certification. The breathability of this helmet was one of the major positives on review and it achieves its increased airflow and improved ventilation from the SBC Integrated Fit System which avoids the extra padding of a traditional full-face friction fit.

This deal is US only and comes in a huge selection of color choices but only the Black, Sand, Maroon, Oak Green, White, and Cactus Bloom/Limestone/Purple Orchid (worth buying for the name alone) are available at the bargain basement price, but you're covered fairly well for color with these options. Sizes range from 36-49 depending on the color chosen.

The Tactic helmet is designed for trail and enduro riding. Like most of the best mountain bike helmets, the Tactic has MIPS protection and the highest 5-Star Virginia Tech helmet rating, so not only looks great but has a confidence-inspiring safety standard should a crash happen.

The massive discount here makes them a bargain MTB flat shoe with loads of sizes and colors too.

Specialized took its aggressive S-Works sole and upper and have combined them with a traditional lace-up closure. The package makes them one of the best gravel shoes available.

There are a load of sizes across the color range and the 50 percent discount means they won't be around for long.
