Sungod launches Tom Pidcock Signature Series Velans sunglasses

Tom Pidcock is one of the most exciting riders at the moment, proving himself as a worthy contender whether he is lining up at a World Cup cross-country race or mixing it up at in the World Tour.

Sungod are the eyewear sponsor for the INEOS Grenadier's team and have launched a Tom Pidcock Signature Series edition of their Velans sunglasses, which Pidcock rode to double victory in both XCC and XCO at the MTB XC World Cup in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic.

Having the best mountain bike sunglasses is important not only to tame the sun but keep debris and dirt out of your eyes when riding. Pidcocks Signature Series are based on the brands Velans range and feature a new Crystal Red frame designed exclusively for the Yorkshire-born rider.

The Velans use SunGod’s proprietary 8KO lens which are engraved with a hand of cards to represent his calculated approach to maximizing his chances in every race, especially fitting after his 40th to 1st place battle at Nova Mesto. The card theme is also featured on the inner arm, with the four card suits representing his multi-disciplinary skills.

The sunglasses will ship with a special microfibre pouch which is in keeping with the playing card motive.
