Giant has been producing some of the best mountain bikes since the earliest days of MTB. Renowned for being at the cutting edge of design and performance, with developments such as its Maestro suspension system, and its advancements in frame manufacturing that includes its own ALUXX aluminum frames.

The Giant Trance range is one of its best-selling models and I've spotted the Giant Trance X 2 on sale at Cycle Store with a massive 43% discount. This equates to a saving of £1,549 of the list price and it's the lowest price I've ever seen on this brilliantly specced mountain bike.

The Giant Trance X 2 is designed to deliver everything you'd want in the best trail mountain bikes. It has quick-handling 27.5-inch wheels making it a responsive and agile bike. The Trance X 2 also features a flip-chip to adjust the frame geometry which means you change the headtube and seat tube angles, as well as the bottom bracket height to fine-tune the bike to your riding style and terrain.

The frame is constructed from ALUXX SL aluminum and it has updated Maestro rear suspension with 145mm of smooth, active rear travel. A trunnion-mount shock and advanced-forged composite rocker arm will soak up bumps and provide plenty of traction and control. Up front, the Fox 160mm fork will deliver confidence-inspiring performance.

The quality build spec continues with a decent line-up of components to deliver performance and reliability. It comes with a SRAM NX Eagle, 12-speed groupset, Tektro Orion 4-piston hydraulic brakes, Fox 36 Rhythm forks, a Fox Float DPS Performance shock, tubeless-ready Giant AM wheels and Maxxis tires. It also has a TransX dropper post, and with the current discount at Cycle Store, it makes it an absolute bargain.

If a carbon-framed MTB is on your radar then I also spotted the Giant Trance X Advanced Pro 29 1 with a 35% discount. For female riders, the Giant Liv Intrigue 29 1 has a 43% discount and both these models are also at Cycle Store.

While this offer is for the UK only, I've added our price checker below which will also automatically give you the best price on the entire Giant Trance range in your territory.
