Endura to be headline sponsor for the 2023 Limitlass mountain bike festival
Scottish brand throws its weight behind the women only MTB event
The iconic Scottish clothing and protection brand Endura has announced that they will be partnering with Limitlass, the award-winning women-only mountain bike festival. Limitlass is held over three days in the stunning surroundings of the Glen Tanar Estate, Royal Deeside, on the weekend of 18th-20th August.
Endura will be the presenting sponsor for the 2023 festival which brings together the very best of female mountain biking with mountain bike skills coaching, guided rides, well-being, entertainment, and all-round good vibes.
First held in 2022, the festival is run by some of the best mountain bike guides and coaches around Anna Riddell, Fiona Finnie and Katie May, and has seen Limitlass quickly establish itself as a must-do event. Limitless also won best mountain bike event title at the Scottish Mountain Bike Awards at the Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland Conference last November. The festival is designed for female riders of all abilities to progress their mountain bike skills, build confidence and enjoy the trails at some of the best mountain bike riding in the northeast of Scotland.
Lucinda Beresford, from Endura spoke of the brand's excitement, "We loved the Limitlass experience last year and are exceptionally pleased to be stepping up to support the event as presenting partners. Women only events are key to encouraging more women to enjoy cycling and we are heartened to see the cycling industry getting increasingly involved in helping to support events that create safe spaces for women to explore their love of mountain biking."
With Anna Riddell from Limitlass adding, "We are over the moon to partner with Endura, a company whose passion and commitment for mountain biking equals our own. Endura’s grass roots approach to supporting women is so evident and we love that. Their creativity and passion is shining through with ideas of support, going above and beyond to help us realize our vision for Limitlass. It’s so exciting."
