Red Bull Hardline 2024 rider list has been announced and it's epic – Book your tickets now!
The gnarliest downhill race in the world returns bigger and better than ever
Red Bull Hardline is celebrating its tenth year in 2024, and the world's toughest downhill mountain bike race promises to be better and bigger than ever, with the exciting launch of a brand new Red Bull Hardline event in Tasmania, that sees the event expand into a mini-series for the first time.
Red Bull has now announced the roster for both events, it currently has 26 invited riders who will race over the two events, including defending champion Jackson Goldstone, current downhill World Champion Charlie Hatton, five female riders including Tahnee Seagrave, and a wildcard list of 12 riders that features the one and only former downhill World Champion Loic Bruni.
After this year's disappointing cancellation of Hardline, Red Bull has announced an incredible list of riders that are sure to have any downhill fan just a little bit excited. Red Bull also recently confirmed the dates for the Hardline anniversary year, with the event returning to its traditional home in the Dyfi Valley, Wales on the 1st and 2nd of June 2024. However, Hardline will also venture beyond the UK for the first time, and the brand new Hardline event will debut down under in Tasmania, Australia on the 23rd and 24th of February 2024.
Other names that jump out on the list of riders are the legendary Gee Atherton, hopefully fighting fit after his massive crash at Red Bull Rampage, and the three-time winner Bernard Kerr. Other talented riders such as Laurie Greenland, Brook Edwards, and Kade Edwards also catch the eye.
After the success of Red Bull Hardline 2023 Progression Camp, the women's line-up welcomes Cami Nogueria, Hannah Bergemann, Louise Ferguson, and Casey Brown who will join Seagrave at both events. Female wildcards for Tasmania include Harriet Smith and Gracey Hemstreet, with more expected to be released for the Dyfi edition soon.
We would expect Red Bull Hardline to be broadcast live globally on Red Bull TV as always. Ahead of both events, fans can also enjoy the best action from course walks and practice on Red Bull Bike YouTube ahead of the main events.
