If you're after a flat pedal shoe this weekend, the Etnies Barge LS deserves your attention.

Etnies has redesigned the Barge and it now has a narrower profile than its predecessor. It also features plenty of armor around the cuff to protect your ankles and the heel has been raised for a more supportive fit. The uppers are suede with canvas inserts for strength and comfort and there's a one-piece toe box for a clean look.

That's coupled with a grippy vulcanized rubber sole with a tread pattern that holds pedal pins well for a secure grip on the pedals when taking drops, and a recycled PU insole.

The Etnies Barge LS shoes are priced down to just $36 in the US and £27.49 on Wiggle's UK site. And whereas you often find shoes with a major markdown are available in either very small or very large sizes, Wiggle's Etnies Barge deal covers the whole range of sizes from US7.5 (UK7) to US12.5 (UK12) and two color options: black/dark grey/gum and navy/grey/white.
