The Garmin Edge 130 Plus might be one of the cheapest GPS cycling computers in Garmin's range but it still has loads of features and we have found it to be one of our go-to options for mountain biking. We spotted some great discounts on the Garmin Edge 130 Plus amongst all the Black Friday mountain bike deals this year, so if you are in the market for a GPS for recording your mountain bike rides be sure to check out the deals below.

The reason we think the Garmin Edge 130 Plus is one of the best MTB GPS computers is because of its size. The 130 Plus is tiny which makes it really easy to mount to your handlebars, stem or frame, keeping it out the way and reducing the risk of it becoming damaged or flying off when tumbling through the undergrowth.

The 130 Plus has a simple design, the black and white screen is crisp and easy to read at a glance and the five function buttons allow easy navigation when wearing gloves. While the 130 Plus doesn't have some of the premium design of the more expensive models, what it lacks in screen tech and mapping (it only has a breadcrumb trail navigation) is easily made up for with other features. You get full integration with Garmin's mobile app (plus other apps like Strava or Training Peaks), compatibility with all the sensors you need, ClimbPro and a solid 12 hours battery life. It even measures Mountain bike dynamics, tracking jump count, distance and hang time.
